About Dr. Mansour
Alaa N. Mansour, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and surgeon at Gentle Foot and Ankle Care in Madison Heights, Michigan.
Dr. Mansour is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon who was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Mansour earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Illinois and attended medical school at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine. He then completed his surgical residency at Beaumont Hospital where he served as chief resident. He went on to complete a fellowship in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at the Foot and Ankle Institute in Indianapolis.
Dr. Mansour is board certified and has extensive training in the treatment of complex foot and ankle deformities as well as fractures, bunions, flat feet, and arthritis. He has a practice emphasis in ankle joint replacements and also has a special interest in innovative treatments such as 3D printed custom implants for limb salvage and deformity correction. He realizes that he is not just treating feet, but the patients they are attached to.
Dr. Mansour gains the most satisfaction from providing compassionate care, understanding each patient's story, and helping them back onto their feet. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, and exploring new cities. Dr. Mansour recognizes it is a great privilege to help people get back to the activities they love.
